Coral Reef Advisory Group
The mission of the Coral Reef Advisory Group is To protect and conserve coral reefs for the benefit of the people of American Samoa, the United States, and the rest of the world.
Coral Reef Advisory Group member agencies work together by mutual consensus to manage coral reefs in American Samoa by planning achievable programs, identifying and collaborating with other partners, obtaining funding for projects, tracking project compliance, promoting public awareness, and developing local capacity for eventual self-sustainability.

L'IRD dans le Pacifique

Une dizaine d'unités de recherche et de service coopèrent à partir de Nouméa avec plusieurs pays de la zone Pacifique (Australie, Nouvelle-Zélande , Hawaii, Japon, Fidji, Vanuatu, Tonga, Salomon, Wallis et Futuna, etc) et ce, en collaboration avec les services nationaux (Mines et Ressources en Eau, Agriculture et Forêt, Géologie), les universités (Universités d'Hawaii, University of the South Pacific, etc) ou les organismes de recherche (SOPAC, CSIRO, AGSO, IGNS, NIWA, etc).

Nauru Fisheries and marine Resources Authority
The Nauru Fisheries and Marine Resources Authority (NFMRA) is the Statutory Authority that manages fisheries on behalf of the sovereign Republic of Nauru. Their new website provides information about Nauru fisheries, including texts of laws and scientific and technical reports, as well as NMFRA services and contacts.

NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service Pacific Islands Regional Office
The Pacific Islands Regional Office of the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The Pacific Islands Regional Office manages programs that support both domestic and international conservation and management of living marine resources within the Pacific. The Pacific Islands Region is comprised of American Samoa, Guam, Hawaii, the Northern Mariana Islands, and other U.S. Pacific islands.

US Coral Reef Taskforce
The United States Coral Reef Task Force (USCRTF) was established in 1998 by Presidential Executive Order to lead U.S. efforts to preserve and protect coral reef ecosystems. The USCRTF includes leaders of 12 Federal agencies, seven U.S. States, Territories, Commonwealths, and three Freely Associated States.
